Roaster & founder of Harmony Coffee, York

Ben possesses extensive experience across the specialty coffee industry, most recently serving as a roaster at Kiss The Hippo prior to founding Harmony. He maintains a strong commitment to professional development through barista competitions, which he views as a platform to refine his expertise. His career has also included consultancy on a range of notable projects, including work with the University of York.

As of 2024, Ben has secured 11 open competition titles. His achievements include placing third in the 2021 SCA UK Latte Art Championship, reaching the Semi-Finals of the 2022 SCA UK Barista Championship following a winning performance at the Bristol heat, and narrowly missing selection to represent England at the 2024 World Aeropress Championship.
