Because coffee fuels creativity, it keeps us motivated in the studio and sharp at the wheel. For us, good coffee made well is as important to the process as the clay itself. That’s why we serve only high-quality, carefully sourced beans — brewed with the same care and attention we give to our ceramics.

Our seasonally rotating, single origin house espresso from Harmony served black or with either Grey Leys’ jersey milk or Oatly.
Harmony Coffee is all about thoughtful sourcing, transparent ethics, and roasting with intention. Ben and the team work directly with producers and co-operatives around the world to bring out the best in every bean — and they’ve been a joy to collaborate with.

Grey Leys Dairy is a family-run dairy farm situated in Elvington, ten miles from York. David Shaw, a fourth-generation farmer, founded the Jersey herd in 1968 with 13 heifers from Totnes. He and his wife Anne, married in 1972, have grown the herd over 50 years. The Shaw family has farmed at Grey Leys since 1876.

The Water
Filtered down to zero. Re-mineralised to a precise recipe.
York’s tap water is famously hard, which affects both flavour and equipment. So we built our own reservoir system to enable us to strip everything out and design our water from scratch. The result? Water calibrated to showcase every nuance in our coffee with no limescale buildup.
