Paint a Handmade Pot

A relaxed pottery painting experience using handmade ceramic pieces, designed for slowing down and spending time in the studio.

Choose from a selection of handmade pots and decorate them using our studio glazes. This is a self-led session rather than a teaching workshop, giving you the freedom to paint at your own pace.

Once finished, your piece will be glazed and fired in our kiln, ready to collect at a later date.

  • Choose a handmade ceramic piece when you arrive, settle into the studio, and paint at your own pace using our range of glazes. There is no pressure to finish in a set way, this is a relaxed, creative experience.

    All materials and guidance are provided, and our team is on hand if you have any questions.

  • We use studio glazes designed specifically for ceramics, giving a durable, food-safe finish once fired.

    Glazes often change slightly during firing. Colours may deepen, soften, or become more fluid, and brushstrokes can show through. This is part of the handmade process and what makes each piece unique.

  • Once painted, your piece is left with us to be glazed and fired in our kiln.

    Firing takes time and pieces are usually ready to collect within a few weeks. We will contact you when your work is ready.

    Due to the firing process, occasional small variations or imperfections can occur. This is a normal part of working with clay and kiln-fired ceramics.
