Reclaimed Marbled Vase
Hand-thrown vase made from clay reclaimed from our restaurant commissions, with a trimmed foot and handwritten maker’s mark. This piece combines predominantly white clay with smaller amounts of red and grey stoneware, marbled together before throwing.
The clay mix changes with each batch, depending on the commissions we’re making, giving each vase its own colours and marbling.
Made by hand in our York studio.
Glaze: gloss white inside, raw clay outside.
Height: approximately 17.5cm.
Opening: approximately 4.5cm wide.
Each piece is individually made, with natural variations in shape, colour and finish.
