Marbled Vase
Hand-thrown vase made from four types of stoneware: red, pink, white and grogged white clay, hand-marbled before throwing. Shaped with a rippled body and flared opening, with a trimmed foot and handwritten maker’s mark. Left raw outside, with a gloss white glaze inside.
Made by hand in our York studio.
Glaze: gloss white inside, raw clay outside.
Height: approximately 20cm.
Opening: approximately 10cm wide.
Each piece is individually made, with natural variations in shape, marbling, colour and finish.
